As we all know McDonald’s launched their new Dreamy Delights desserts and it has taken social media platforms by storm, starting from their famous new Rich Chocolate Pie, then their Brown Sugar Pearl Sundae, to their Coffee Mcflurry. But does their Dreamy Delights really live up to the hype set by the Netizen’s? We decided to find out ourselves.

Brown Sugar Pearl Sundae – No.1 7.6/10

This dessert easily topped our rankings and here is why:

The brown sugar is not very sweet although it gets stranded at the bottom of the cup along with the pearls. We suggest that you scoop that brown sugar at the bottom along with the vanilla ice cream to get that creamy goodness.
Although some of the pearls were hard there were still some that remained soft and chewy.

Coffee Mcflurry – No.2 6/10

Review:

We were all expecting something on their Coffee McFlurry but sadly it did not meet our expectations. We were expecting to taste a lot of Coffee flavor in their McFlurry but what we only got was the Oreo taste, so it just turned out to be the normal Oreo McFlurry. But maybe it was just only on the branch that we visited.

Rich Chocolate Pie – No.3 5/10

Review:

The crust of this pie is okay, not that crunchy and not that soft, but what threw us the most is the chocolate inside, they used dark chocolate but the dark chocolate did not have a hint of sweet in it,we were also expecting a good quality chocolate inside but it was just like the usual cocoa powder that we can buy easily at the market. We thought that it would be better if they sweetened it since it was a pie after all. But hey, that is just our opinion.

To summarize these reviews, we expected a lot from these dreamy delights desserts after all of the hype in the social media, but sadly, it did not meet our expectations.
